I survived!

Yes I RAN all 21.2 miles! I will say it was a blast! So ready to go do it again.

Wasatch My Back Baby!

We stayed in Logan and got about 2hrs of sleep Thursday night what a great way to start! I was runner #1 started off our team with 7.9 miles. 5:45am! I got a little teary eyed when I had to leave my friends and run by MYSELF ahhhhh! But I did it.It was a wonderful run along a creek in Logan and a golf course (to remind me of my cute hubby). I was waiting for the mile markers and thought to myself I have at least gone 4 miles and well I had gone 6. I was one happy runner, leg 1 done!

Can't say I was too excited for my 2nd run. 8.5 miles! 2:30 in the afternoon, 90 degrees, Uphill for a mile that never ended and then downhill with a few ups in between then at the last 4 miles downhill slope 7%. I did it whoo whoo. The longest distance I have ever ran was 8.21 miles and I didn't run that on hardly any sleep and after running 7.9 miles!

Third run 2:30 am and a desolate road. I was so scared out of my mind! Not running so well and just wondering if I was going to survive. Longest 4.8 miles of my life. What a feeling of accomplishment to be DONE! Night, night friends for a little while!

What an amazing feeling to know that I ran the whole 21.2 miles! I am not a runner, I just started running 2.5 months ago. (I thought it was 4 but informed by my trainers;) that it was only 2.) Wow I feel so awesome that I haven't ran since. I am totally addicted though and this is a great thing. Seriously cannot wait to do it again! Thanks friends it was the greatest and so are you!
