Merry Christmas!

Santa came to our house again! He delivered plenty of toys for the kids to enjoy!

Dalton got a skateboard and Wii Sports Resort game!

Aspen got a doll house!

Cohen got a skatedboard!

Jett got a learning table and a train!

They got a T.V. to watch movies on and play their video games!

This sweet boy was happy for hmmm this picture and then fell back asleep, his ear was draining really bad and we had to take him to the Dr.

Lost a Tooth!

Aspen lost her first tooth back in November and was so proud of it! She walked around showing everybody she saw!

I can't believe this Guy!

Jett Cooper has been with us now as long as he was in my tummy! The last 9 months has gone by a lot quicker than the 9 before that! Jett has changed so much in the last month it is unbelievable!

He now:
Says Mama all the time!
Says baba
Says da for big "D"
Gives the BEST kisses
Clapps his chubby hands!
Shakes his head No!
Waves Bye Bye!
Finally got some TEETH! 2 bottom ones!
Crawls so fast and I love to hear him follow me down the hall. We have hardwood floors and so I can hear his little pitpat!

This cute little guy sure does put up with a lot of crap! He has some awesome big brothers and sister that like to play with him! They love to wrestle him and carry him around and they just love him so much. They love him so much that they colored his hair bright pink for his 9 month celebration! Ok really Aspen spilled some nail polish and some how his hair got the best of it!

Needless to say if I had to shave his head bald I told Aspen hers was going too. She cried but hopefully learned a lesson. I got it out after trying everything under the sun and finally baby oil got it out. He only lost a few strands and cried for a minute while I combed the oil through his hair. What a trooper! He is such a great baby and I love him so much!

Christmas Eve!

Last year we started a tradition to go to Grandpa and Grandma Wignall's for Christmas Eve! Santa Claus comes to visit and gives us all a special present! It was super fun this year, the kids raced some sleighs made out of a candy bar and candy canes with a snowman made out of marshmellows. Then we got to open some presents from Grandpa and Grandma Wignall! We had a lot of good food and we played a fun game that involved a little money called Left Right Center! My husband won the practice round but Tara ended up winning the "real" game.

Christmas Party #1

We usually always go to the Strickland side of the family the weekend before Christmas and Grandma and Grandpa Strickland give the kids their presents. The cousins exchange gifts too. It was a lot of fun.

I love to see the Temple(especially during Christmas)!

We headed up to Temple Square a few days before Christmas this year and it was so fun! The sidewalks were pretty slick so we were ice skating most the time! This year we were smart...instead of looking at all the lights first, we went to the manger scene and listened to the message and headed inside to watch some movies! It was a lot of fun and I am sure we will be back next year!

At our ward Christmas Party the kids participated in a Nativity! Dalton and Cohen were shepherds and Aspen was a sheep! Cohen sat there and smiled the whole time while everyone took pictures! It was so cute!

Aspen started gymnastics a couple of months ago and LOVES it, to say the least! She has great coordination and is very good. She does a great round off with straight legs and a great landing! She had a performance last Saturday and it was really fun to watch.

8 MoNtHs YoUnG!

My baby is still young! Wow what a month can do to a baby! Jett Cooper is such a love bug! He has had a rough month being sick but hopefully we will be done with that!

Things Jett loves: His Mommy, the most :) his Daddy, his bothers and sister, the vacuum, his toy closet, getting into things he shouldn't and then eating them, light fixtures (loves to follow them as I carry him down the hall...maybe it is the angels he is checking out who knows) and his blanky.

Things Jett can do: says Mama, crawls like a pro, pulls himself to stand and falls down and lays there as if he can't move, started to cruise along the furniture, eats food a lot better but wants the hard stuff and still chokes/gags, smiles all the time and melts my heart with his deep dark brown eyes.

Baby Jett has also recovered most of his hair and it is growning quickly! Love Him!

What are you going to be on Halloween Night?

Halloween was so much fun this year! Between school parties, trunk or treat and the real deal of trick or treating, the kids chose a few different costumes to dress up in.

The Mom even decided to throw on a tu-tu and some piggies to be a ballerina!

Dalton was not as high maintenance and just stuck with being a football player.

Cohen went from spiderman to a football player to a cowboy back to a football player.

Aspen dressed up as a baby for school...

And a pirate was her favorite that she wore trick or treating!

Jett was pirate for trick or treating. I'd have to say he was the cutest baby pirate around. He even said "argh" for us

                            Jett was a monkey on for the trunk or treat! What a chunky monkey he was!

Wow we survived a great Halloween this year...can't wait to see what the kids want to be next year! Hopefully we can stick to one thing!
