I love where I live!

I know without a doubt we are supposed to live where we live. I love our neighborhood and ward. I have such a support system and feel so loved here. I am especially grateful for my friends and family today. My friends Tamra, Kristen and Abby threw an AWESOME baby shower for me and the turn out was great. I truly am grateful for the relationships I have established in my ward and know now that there are genuine people out there who care. I just want to thank my friends all around me and let you know that you all mean so much to me. Thanks for everything! I received so many great things and lots of cute clothes.

ThEy ArE tHe ReAsOn...

Why I am so happy to have another boy. If any of you really know the Strickland Family my husband came from you would not believe the way my boys personalities are. Strickland Boys are tough and don't show feelings...well not my boys they are so sensitive, caring and fun loving. They do get rough at times and can definitely hold their own, but they really just are very compassionate. Big D and CoCo have always been a cuddle bugs and Dalton always reminds me if I have forgotten to give him a kiss at night. CoCo is always telling everyone he loves them and I am so proud of them. I love my BOYS!!!
This is when we were sitting watching t.v. and I looked over and saw CoCo loving on the Big "D".


This was the end result of movie night in mom and dad's bed the other night!

WOW!

I know I have big babies but never have measured 4 weeks ahead of the game and today I topped the heaviest I have ever been. Hooray for me! Looks like I might get my wish and get this kid out quicker than I thought. Monday I have yet another ultrasound to see why I am so big. Then I might decide whether or not to post a picture of me. We will see.

P.S. Must explain Aspen's new love, my "BACK FAT", she really is obseseed and the next night that she tickled my back she told me she loved the "squishy"...so nice.

Is that your....

So last night I asked Aspen to tickle my back. So she so willingly goes ahead and was tickling...when she says
"Mom is that your butt, I am tickling?" I said
"No it is my back, see?" then she says
"Well then why is it FAT and SQUISHY?"
I just started to laugh and then realized that kids really are honest and she is not used to that back fat on her mommy. Hopefully it will go away and I can show her it was just because I had a baby in my tummy.

A little time at the Beach...

We of course had to take our kids to the beach and wow did they LOVE it! CoCo is so afraid of the water and when it sneeks up on him he gets the funniest face and runs as fast as he can! He had to pee so bad and yes being the great mom I am said well no better place to go...drop your drawers! Well while he was peeing the waves came up and got him, he almost fell over and was a little mad that I would let it happen. It was pretty funny to see him try to run with his pants down around his ankles...then we all just laughed! Dalton got to hold a big starfish. Pretty Cool!

The Happiest Place on Earth...

Well we really did it! We made it for our 2nd annual trip to Disneyland this past week, even though I am almost 8 months pregnant! The weather was so nice, I was hot some of the time! We had such a great time, but I will never go to Disneyland pregnant again, but worth the memories. The kids had a lot of fun. It was fun to see what they remembered from last year. Here is a sneak peek until I can get my laptop back.

While we have all been bored...

I was making blankets for my BABY! Here are results! Just getting a little excited!
