Big D is 9

Next year I will have a child in the double digits! Time is going by way to fast and these kids are growing up, which in turn makes me OLD! Dalton is such a great kid! We have the best big brother in the world around here. Dalton has always been so loving to his younger brothers and sister and cousins. Everyone loves Dalton!

Dalton loves to see where money goes and so this year for his birthday he got a lot of money, with the exception of a basketball hoop from us and some treats and a cool UFC wrestling ring that he loves. SO he was going to buy a long board (which he still is going to) but his first purchase was an air soft gun. He is so excited and figured out how much money he will have leftover! He is so great at math and he figured it out faster than I could and it wasn't simple math!

Dalton I am so grateful for you in our lives, you have always been wonderful since the day you were born. Always wanting to Choose the Right, being kind to others and accepting of anyone around you, always willing to share, just an all around great kid! You love life and you have great goals that I hope you will fulfill one day!

Dalton wanted rootbeer floats for his birthday and it kept Jett still for 20 minutes while he sat and ate it!

I didn't want him not to have a cake so I picked this one up the next day!

Handsome Big "D" 's first day of 3rd Grade

My handsome little man loves school and he was so excited to go! He was very happy to wear his new clothes, but soon found out it was too hot for them right now! Love you Dalton and I am so proud of you! You are a great kid!

My CoCo starts Kindergarten

Cohen has been so ready for school to start. He keeps asking when it is his turn. When he had his assessment his teacher to be was so proud that he knew his birthday, phone number and address all by himself. I kept calling him Co or CoCo and so is teacher asked him what name he would like to go by and he replied "COHEN". Cohen is so chill, he surprises all of us everyday. He will probably be the very youngest, but not the smallest kid and so hopefully he will be just fine. He catches on quickly so I think he will do great!
I especially love that Dalton and him can walk home together.

First Day of School for My Little 1st Grader

Aspen started school today. She wouldn't let me leave for 45 minutes and then still didn't want me to leave. So while staying with her I got the opportunity to go out to their first pledge of allegiance. I had my nice little camera on my shoulder and they asked me to take some pictures. I was a little embarrassed but it was fun and I was glad to help out! My insider at the school let me know that Aspen was doing just fine so I am happy and maybe once Dalton starts on Wednesday and she is not the only one going to school she will be fine...crossing our fingers because I know going to the first grade is so hard. I must be too nice or something!

I can't believe (I know I know) that she is in 1st grade. I just barely had her cuddly bum in my arms! Love my little Bailee girl!

Surf's Up Dude!

Happy Birthday to the cutest, sweetest melt my heart 5 year old Cohen Luke. I can't believe he is 5 and can start Kindergarten :(

We had a Surf/Beach party for my little curly haired boy that reminds me of a surfer! And it was a hit!

I have been collecting things for the boys room to decorate in surf stuff so I have been holding off giving him his bedding so I gave it to him for his birthday (as if he cared about new bedding). Then my sweet neighbor has been looking for months for a surfboard and he is so good at wood work that he just decided it would be easier to cut it out of wood and then I could paint it. (when the room is complete trust me I will post pictures ;)

I love to get out and go boating especially with friends. All the kids love boating and I love the way Jett just relaxes.

Jett wasn't so sure about the tube but while it was going he laughed the whole time!
