It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

1. Do you like Eggnog or Hot Chocolate? Hot chocolate, it has been my best friend this year already!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just put them under the tree? Santa does both. The kids' big gift is usually not and everything else is wrapped in their own section of the room.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Both! I like to switch up our lights on our house and this year we did red and white, last year just white and the year before we did color. But my tree has white lights and it looks classy, if my kids had a tree I would do it with colored lights and colorful ornaments
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No. I get kisses all the time!
5. When do you put up your decorations? The day after Thanksgiving. I like to be thankful first.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? I love too many things but here are a few...let's see...cheese ball with wheat thins, carrots and celery with ranch dip and any dessert you put in front of my face is GOOD!
7. What is your favorite Holiday memory as a child? We had two Christmas trees. Both real but one was flocked and that was for my mom's classy white living room. We would switch off every other year in what room we would open our presents in.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We are so excited and love to let our kids know that it is Christmas Eve so yes we open a present and it is the usual P.J.'s.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? It has a lot of rustic stars and bells,
some fake candy canes, berry garland, some hand crafted ornaments, some shatterproof glitter balls and just cuteness.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I love snow for Christmas...It better snow.
12. Can you ice skate? Yes, but not very good.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Recently, well 2 years ago my great camera my husband got me.
14. What is the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Being with my family and seeing my kids' faces light up with the spirit of Christmas!
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Anything but caramel is good with chocolate!
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I love being with family and going to Temple Square to see the lights. This year we are going to The Polar Express...so
hopefully we will continue that if it is good.

17. What tops your tree? A rustic star.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? I love to GIVE. I love to see the excitement in the receiver's eyes.
19. What is your favorite Christmas song? Christmas Shoes...it has such a powerful meaning for the season.
20. Candy Canes? Not really unless it is not peppermint.
21. Do you feel Christmas is too commercialized? Yes, I hate it when the stores put out decorations right after Halloween...let's find the true meaning of Christmas.
22. Favorite Christmas movie? Santa Claus, but I was told I would love Elf, but haven't seen it yet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

Happy Birthday to my sweet hunk of a husband. I love him so much and am so grateful for him in our lives. He is the best daddy and husband ever! He is so not into birthdays so he suggested a few things and then I got to take over! So he wanted to go out to eat...because he didn't want me to work on 'his' day. Then he suggested going to Temple Square to take our kids to see the lights. It was great fun! But did I mention I made him go get family pictures. He is such a trooper and then he told the photographer we will be calling you in April. We both really loved her and can't wait to see our pics. It was a funfilled day! Babe I love you and Happy Birthday to the most unselfish man in the world.

My Heart is Going to POP!

Here is my little jammer Apsen...listening to The Show by Lenka. She knows all the words and when it says My Heart is Going to POP, she sings it so LOUD!

Seriously people who honestly allows their children or even helps them steal a bike. And a bike that is right by someone's front door... the nerve. Well if anyone around my neighborhood sees a bike like this...I know it is hard to see, but it is silver, black and red and has a unique seat that we would know(only because our dogs ate the original seat) please help a poor soul out. Sad irresponsible 7 year old:(

Brotherly Love...and not what you would expect from me!

So yes our big old dogs are brothers and even though they fight, and especially in the last month, they have both given each other some good scars and both have had a bleeding ear...They really do love each other. And no I did not pose them like that.

Thankful Thankful!

As I woke up this morning at 6:45am to my 3 year singing "I am a child of God, and he has sent me here, has given me an earthly home with parents kind and dear, walk beside,lead me guide help me find the way... I am a child of God... Yes he was half asleep too and I just thought about how many things I am so grateful for while he tried so hard to sing the right words.

1. I am grateful for the gospel in my life and how it has already enriched my beautiful children's lives.

2. I am grateful for the new life I have growing inside of me, especially to feel him kick and know that he is there. I am so excited for this new life and a little scared too. But to know Heavenly Father will be right by our side helping us through the tough times.

3. I am so grateful for the neighborhood I live in. Everyone is so genuine, caring and loving. Everyone dreams of a huge mansion and I am just grateful to have a home and be surrounded by people that I know truly care and are there in times of need. Especially grateful for our next door neighbors who have helped me so much in the last month while Jesse has been away for business. Glad that is over with and we can have him home with us again.

4. I am so grateful for my sisters and my mom, hopefully Aspen will really have a sister one day to have that special sister bond.

5. I am so grateful for my husband and for all he does for our growing family. He is the best daddy and husband ever.
